The Technical Micro : Macro Theory Thingy

I never have any idea what on earth I'm going to say, when I sit down to hammer something out here.

I literally cannot imagine or visualise a single thing. Vacant as a grounded aircraft Water Closet.

But therein resides a larger socio-economic-politcal-global phenomenon !!

By that vague notion I mean: the micro : macro thingy.

i.e.: What I might know, see or experience, so too do whole communities and nations.

Par examplement: (a) one becomes conscious of their consumption, recycling and lifestyle habits, they recognize they could save money if they stop and thought, they therefore alter their habits, and reduced what is consumed, thereby reducing their 'footprint' from being a steel-toed Kodiak boot into the earths solar plexus's, to a kinder softer more delicate ballet slipper (which ironically only lasts a few turns before ceasing to be able to support the prancer, and as a result has to be thrown out in a matter of days - total waste...but I digress*+;...damnwhere was I ?! Right !!...on the Left.

(b) so too are other countries, and governments adjusting their behavior.

(although their bent-knee-groin-whapping- piroetting and twirling about makes them look a bit clumsy...but at least they are participating in the ballet).

Micro : Macro

What I'm on about, is actually not amusing or anecdotal...

My not having any idea gave me the following idea:

Technically - we have in our possession, at our fingertips, the technology no other generation has had prior in all our history. Technically, this medium - the internet - gives us access to a global audience - and we're all looking, listening and waiting, but who of us is talking? Technically, this technology levels-the-playing-field generations before us have fought and died for. Technically, this freedom of expression and speech is more powerful than one-person-one-vote could ever carry. Technically, with this technology you don't need to run for President, or be the leader of a nation, or be a billionaire who uses their obscene weath to influence the next Global chess move - this technology IS that power and influence. Technically this is your voice. Technically, this technology enables anyone to be the next Martin Luther King. Mahatma Gandhi. John Lennon. Vaclav Havel. Eduardo Galeano. Bob Dylan. Howard Zinn. Aristotle. Kalil Gibran. And everyone and anyone who has ever had the courage and strength to have spoken up, stood up, and stuck their neck out for all of us.

Now, I'm not a mathematician, but I'm going to venture to say there are more free thinking, free individuals with laptops and technology at hand than there are political leaders in this world.

Technically, we are the power. Our sheer numbers reveal that.

So why isn't anything being done? Because we haven't ~done~ anything.
We don't feel it [change] is our job.

It is.

My guess is that it's that damn micro : macro thingy

It's not unlike filthy dishes piling up in the sink. Forget blaming all who aren't doing them. If it bothers you - it offically becomes your job to do that which the pathologically pathetic who can't think or care enough about their environment to do anything for themselves. In fact, that's evidence you SHOULDN'T leave anything important up to people like that to do for you - cause you'll be disgusted if you do, and because you know you could've done a better job.

So, we Global populace hasn't come together in a technological collective, and swelled up like a tsumani eradicating the self serving corrupt corporate few because:

a) we pathetically can't imagine or visualise it [ it being: making current political pathology obsolete & a punishable crime] b) it would mean we [caring conscientious people] would have to ~do~ something, like participate.

I have an idea....what's say we bring the 1960's rallies into the 21st century?

What's say we find the laziest possible, yet highly influential method of creating change without getting arrested or inconveniently killed. Let's modernize what used to be known as a movement.

What else were you doing that ? And...is there a legacy in that? No? Great ! Welcome!

Technically, we have the technology to create & leverage the change we all need to see.

So what on earth are you waiting for?

Need ideas as to how to commence email me!

Bottomline: We'd all do better if we all did better.
