This living in a stagnant fishbowl - without a filtration system - is getting a bit cloudy.
Think of the millions of guppies being spawned in these cloudy, cramped conditions and climate, as if all this is normal, livable, tolerable, manageable or sustainable.
Meanwhile the little critters are increasingly exhibiting a myriad of malignancies we never had to deal with when we were guppies.
We've gone off the proverbial deep end, by never leaving the shallow end.
And there ain't anyone outside of this fishbowl going to come and clean and vacuum out our mess either.
This has been swimming around my clouded mind these days.
...the swim-up-to-bar was likely a key component that has kept us from evolving.
